Commercial License

This kind of course is for those pilots who want to fly professionally. In an integrated Commercial Pilot course, you will obtain your Private Pilot certification in Phase I, and your Instrument Rating and Commercial License in Phase II. You can fly each phase in either a single engine or in a multi-engine airplane, and your Commercial Certificate will reflect the categories chosen.

Without any prior flying experience, all necessary ground instruction and approximately 250 flying hours can be completed in 6 to 9 months. If you already have a Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating, the additional training may typically require only 10 to 20 additional flight hours.

The Club can provide assistance with course placements, housing, major medical insurance, and other services you may need during your stay for a Professional Pilot program. Career assistance is also available for people who complete this program.

Prerequisites

There are no requirements to begin the professional program, however you will need to complete Phase I before moving on to Phase II

  • Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating
  • At least a second class medical certificate
