They are not suitable for sight-seeing tours, and normally not for more than 1 person.<br \/>\nNo regular Membership is required to sign up for one.\u00a0 Guest-Membership status is included with the Introductory Lesson<\/p>\n<p>Resources (like Airplanes, Instructors, Introductory Flight Lessons, Club Memberships, etc.) are\u00a0\u00a0limited.\u00a0 You will need to provide your full name, and complete contact information (name, address, phone, e-mail, etc.).\u00a0 And, you will need to have a valid passport or Visa. This Lesson will typically include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An Introduction\/Overview, that will take about 50 minutes.\u00a0 It will address the &#8216;Learn to Fly&#8217; process, Pilot Certification, Training Methods, Club information, and, Costs.<\/li>\n<li>An Introduction to the Aircraft, &#8216;Pre-Flight&#8217; \/ Ground Instruction, that will take about 50 Minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Actual In-Aircraft time: about 1 Hour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Total time: about 2 Hours and 50 Minutes.<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"color: #3264a0;\">STANFORD FLYING CLUB MEMBERSHIP \/\u00a0ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS\n<\/span><\/pre>\n<p>Memberships are intended for those seeking to learn to fly and obtain\u00a0or upgrade their Pilot Certificate.<br \/>\nMembership is open to the public. Applicants must provide their full name, address and contact information.<\/p>\n<p>An Introduction\/Onboarding meeting of approximately 50 minutes, that will typically cover:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is involved in Learning to Fly and getting a Pilot License<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/flystanford.com\/flight-training\/\">Training Method(s) &amp;\u00a0Systems<\/a> used<\/li>\n<li>Stanford Flying Club information<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/flystanford.com\/pilots-license\/\">Available Pilot Licenses<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Overview of possible Costs<\/li>\n<li>Club Regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To start Flight Training, the US Transportation Security Agency [TSA] requires US citizens to present a valid US Passport.
