Kyle is a cross-country pilot who loves big skies, bold trips, and sharing the joy of flying. He has explored everything from the snowy peaks of Tahoe to the deep, winding canyons of Arizona; he has flown out of Palo Alto Airport since 2001, when he earned his Private Pilot certificate. His love for flying started early, sitting beside his father on family trips and dreaming of one day taking the controls.

Kyle studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and spent 25 years leading engineering teams in the Bay Area. He then followed his lifelong dream and became a flight instructor. He brings real-world adventure, calm guidance, and extensive cross-country experience to every student he teaches.

When he’s not in the air, you’ll find Kyle skiing, cycling, playing pickleball, or training his energetic Maltipoo puppy.
